Since I do not post on twoplustwo.com, I would like to address the many false things Aejones has recently said about me after I pointed out his blatant hypocrisy in my last blog. In this post aejones made several lies that I am going to take the opportunity to refute.

Reality: Aejones has trolled me around for over 2 years now. If you don’t believe me, use the search function on 2+2 and search for keyword “leatherass” and find posts by user “aejones.” What you will find is a constant trolling of me in the forums.
To add to that, I recently received a PM from someone who wished to remain anonymous who used to work for Leggo Poker. That person told me that when they worked for Aejones, he told several coaches who worked for him to call me out on 2+2 or do anything to try and create a lot of 2+2 buzz because they felt that by using me to draw attention to themselves, the word would easily spread about Leggo Poker and that they would gain extra sign ups. The anonymous person told me that it was nearly the focal point of their marketing strategy. The felt the 2+2 market was so valuable that gaining as much notoriety for themselves would lead to them building a nice business for themselves.
Aejones Quote: “BW’s poker video was good, which tells me he is actually thinking about hand ranges instead of simply narrating the action, if you haven’t seen it you can’t comment on that.”
Reality: My videos were the most watched videos on Stoxpoker, my book has sold incredibly well and you will be hard pressed to accomplish that by simply narrating the action at the tables. I have provided for minimal pay, content to the members of Stoxpoker and have received literally thousands of messages from people who have told me that my advice made a massive difference in their games, including the person aejones just hired, Boywonder.
Aejones quote: “LA, as far as everyone who has played with him is concerned, is excruciatingly mind-bogglingly tight, such a tightness that is not good for the games, I do not believe that BW is nearly that nitty.”
Reality: No matter how people perceive my play, I believe my record speaks for itself. I have won what I have won through play that is clearly making money at high stakes poker. And now that it has become obvious that your whole “bumhunter” claims are inarguably absurd, I’m not really sure what you have left other than admit that I must be doing some things right at the tables.
Aejones quote: “LA used to mutli-table and purely shortstack, as far as I know BW has never just loaded up 12 tables with 20 bbs and jammed over opens.”
Reality: I have toyed around with a few things in poker throughout my career (who hasn’t?) but is there anyone who seriously would define me as a shortstacker and actually keep straight face? The reality is I have played more hands at high stakes poker with a full buy in than anyone on earth. To characterize me as a shortstacker for playing at most 100 hours of poker shortstacking way back over 3 years ago, long before anyone knew who I was, is absurd.
Aejones quote: “As far as I know BW does not sit out the EXACT hand that the fish does, which I know LA does (or did for a relevant period of time in his poker career).
Reality: This is just a lie. I don’t even know what more to say. Could someone have gotten a screenshot where I was sitting out when a fish is sitting out? Of course. Does that mean I did it intentionally? Of course not. And does that mean I do that as a standard practice? Absolutely not. This is just a classic case of aejones rallying his troops to try and smear my reputation by having several of his buddies post on an internet forum telling people I do something that I do not even do so he can try and sell memberships to his website.
I don’t claim to be a perfect person and I don’t fault anyone for thinking that I am a d-bag or whatever people say. People can not like me for any reasons they want. Sure I put myself out there a lot and do some goofy stuff. I kind of just am who I am. There are absolutely some people out there who don’t like me, but I am comfortable in my own skin and while I may not be a perfect person, I genuinely do strive to better the lives of those around me each and every day. I try to do my best and embrace a business philosophy of everyone has to win or I won’t do business. But I will have to admit, it is pretty frustrating when some people don’t like you because some hypocritical liar is out spreading lies about you so he can sell some memberships to his website.
Aejones quote: “I retract the statement I made about 50k hands a month, that is clearly wrong, I just have NO idea about volume– last month I think I played 20k hands and that was probably my highest volume month in the last 2 years!”
Reality: Well maybe in aejones world , you can just flip flop and say anything you want and add and subtract it for when it works for you, but to normal people, yes you just are a hypocrite. You flat out called me a bumhuter for 2 years and then when your prized new hire was criticized for the exact same things that you criticized me for, you then decided to become a logical person and admit that you CAN NOT be a “bumhunter” and play 50 thousand hands a month (which I typically play at least double that)! Now that you are pointed out as a hypocrite, you want to just retract that? Give me a break dude. You can’t just add and subtract statements whenever you want them to work for you. That is not the way the real world works. You are just a hypocrite!

Reality: I do not frequently attack aejones. I have definitely defended myself as I am certainly doing right now. Again, I would urge people to use their search feature on 2+2 and search for the term “leatherass” and then insert “aejones” under posts by user. The record is quite clear. Aejones harasses me constantly. I would encourage people to do the reverse and I challenge people to find instances where I attack him personally unsolicited. Like I said, you will unquestionably find that I have said plenty of stuff to him, but it will become painfully obvious that I don’t instigate trouble with him. Aejones makes fun of me in videos (very professional of a poker training site CEO I know lol), blog posts and constantly on 2+2.

My response: yes Aejones, that has become quite apparent. You will do WHATEVER it takes for your training site to succeed, even if that means slandering people who never intended to have any beef with you. There are no boundaries to what you will do for your training site and that is exactly the problem I have with you.
